Saturday. In Silverton, after dinner walk.

Though I missed a few days due to 4runner not running well, it was great to get back down to Silverton. Checking out the Buffalo Boy Mine and doing the Old Hundred Mine tour made for a great day. Finally got pics up on blog. Enjoy.

Sunday.
Went up to the top of Corkscrew Pass just for old times sake. Then over to Hurricane Pass. Took a quick detour into Alaskan Basin because I’ve never gotten to check that out before. Then I went over California Pass and down to Animas forks again. I took Stoney Pass out to the Rio Grand Reservoir and then back up towards Gunnison.

Got an opportunity this trip to recreate a picture from 14 years ago, on the first trip I made to the Silverton area with my truck. Quite a bit has changed since then.
