Gallery confusion

There are already established sub-galleries under club trips, like Boulder Toyota Show etc. I want to add today's run up Argentine but can't seem to make a new sub-gallery. All my photos were added to the Club Trips gallery as single photos, and not as a sub-gallery. What am I doing wrong? Or at what point during the upload process can I establish a new sub-gallery (or "category" as it's called)?

Kinda the same thing, I want to make a sub-gallery under "Member's Rigs" for me but can't make a new sub-gallery. So I had to post pics in the other "Members Gallery" gallery, which is just a collection of random pics.

Help?

I think that's why it's not used as much as it could be. I or an admin have to create the gallery. You can then (i think) move photos there. I'll have to look around and see if there is freeware like Gallery or something else. This one tied in login and permissions to vb which was nice. I dunno if they made it any better or not in later version.
