Gaia Stupid Bot

I have used Gaia as my off road GPS for fours years. I started with their free version for the first year and then upgraded to the paid subscription. It has worked well until just recently. About three months ago the icon on my tablet would open google play store and at that time I contacted their support and got a response back from what I assume was a real person. The email exchanges seemed correct grammatically and made sense. That problem was solved and it was found to be some glitch on their end as my subscription was paid in advance for the year. I'm having the exact same issue now except that their support is now run by a bot. I have emailed probably about 25 times and have had one response giving me a ticket number. It has been three days now and I can not access Gaia. I went to their web site and they have a help/support button there that opens a bot. See below for the response from that thing. I tried probably six or seven different ways to word my question but it always ended in the same sad loop. It looks like Gaia is going to get uninstalled pretty quick if I don't get the problem solved. Anyway, heads up if you are thinking about them for your nav system. Anybody else use them and/or have issues?

Disappointing, but not surprising.
As more corporations "optimize for A.I." this will continue to be a worsening problem.
I'd say cancel your subscription. And if they ask why, specifically site their use of A.I Slop Bots for customer support.
Companies will continue to, "Employ the use of A.I. Models to optimize client support and streamline problem solving to better enhance the client experience and increase the company's bottom line."
i.e. They fire the humans who can actually listen and provide solutions for customer's issues and replace it with Slop Bots. More people out of a job, fewer issues actually fixed, and more clients pissed that they can't get even the bare minimum of acceptable service.

But hey, this is the "bright future". Also, you're an "unpatriotic communist pig" if you don't support it....All hail the machine overlords...

It is one thing when they work. Friends have griped about the AI ordering at Wendy's. While I was shocked when it was obviously AI I was talking to, it got my order right and I didn't have to yell at it.

But when they are employed to do a job they obviously cannot do...

You can also leave a negative review on Google Play and other online review places. That *might* be seen by a human.

Since this might be a google play issue Ill swim around in that muck for a while and see what I can find.

One thing I didn't include was at the end of my attempts to make "it" understand I already had a support ticket open I called "it"

I am officially declaring customer service dead. In the past everybody seemed to at least make an attempt at pleasing their customers. I took 15 years restoring an old Chevy. I chose a stainless steel exhaust kit (expensive) I tried everything to get it to fit and called them to let them know it did not. I was hoping for a solution but they said that if I didn't like the kit to send it back, end of story. I ended up cutting and welding that kit after I taught myself how toTIG weld.
