Do your internet browser settings allow "cookies"? I believe for the site to remember you your browser has to accept the cookie...

I keep having to log in EVERY time I visit the forum. Why is that?

Terry

After 100 posts that stops happening. :lmao: NOT.

That happened to me for a while. I think Wes waved his magic wand one day and it stopped. :D

Ghhheesh

Let you into the members section and your still complaining

Go into tools from your internet broswer pull down

Internet options

Security click trusted sites and add the main page to trusted sites.

If that doesn't work, make sure your security settings are at medium or low medium

Make sure your privacy tab is also set to medium.

I think it has to do with not allowing cookies from the site.

See what happens when you make fun of the web guy ;) your user is tainted. probably cause you have more than one forum user here. art hog and the55guy.

I believe this is an issue with your machine. Clear the cache and cookies and I bet your all set.

This is the same with me at home. Works fine here at work. I thought maybe it's a OS X/Safari issue, but it works fine on Kirsten's Mac. I dunno, I allow cookies and it was working just fine, then stopped a few weeks ago. I don't log on much from home, so it's not a big deal but annoying.

This is what happen too me. its been messed up for about 2 weeks now.

Try the ih8mud fix:

Some users have expressed problems with their logins...they enter the correct username and password, only to end up immediately logged back out of the site. Additionally, problems have been occasionally noted with images appearing properly.

Run this cookie clearing program, should reset all your forum cookies and allow you to relogin "fresh". (check all the boxes) The "general agreement" on the vBulletin support forum is that a corrupted cookie is the problem.

Do we let Mac people in here? :lmao:

BTW, I was not suggesting Firefox for one forum. I was suggesting a real browser for ALL your internet needs... :D

Mac users should download Camino, I like it better than Safari myself and it doesn't have any issues.

I'll try and get to upgrade the week or two after labor day. I've downloaded it but I need to do a bunch of maintenance before hand.

Mac users are used to waiting for pc programs to work on their system right ;)

see if it's better for you now Dave. I still have to edit 1 template but the rest should be good.
