Fine & Course Spline Cruiser 4:10 3rds

Ive got a Problem with 3rd members, an addiction if you will.. Currently i have 2 sets of fine spline 4:10's out of the Rear of Fzj 80's so they have more gusseting than the 40/60 ones.. They both look Great!,, Then i also have a few spares that are Course Spline..

Id Relay like to sell one of the Fine Spline 3rds. Its all together, Just Slap it in! $150 obo.. I May be willing to let both sets go for the right price.. Round Flanges Included (Just drill your shaft pattern and go)

And id like to get rid of both of my Spare Course 4:10 3rds.. $50 a Pop..

these will bolt right into any 40 or 60, and the fine spline is a must for the rear of a truck that gets used hard!

This will fit in an FJ62? Do they leak at all? My rear in my FJ62 leaks and has +225K miles on it. Are these better?

Turtle60, you have the fine spline 4.11 (and I believe Cruisers are 4.11 (37/9) rather than 4.10 (41/10), but I could be wrong) already. You need to replace your pinion seal and nut to fix that, which is a lot easier than swapping out third members.

Sorry I don't need a 3rd member right now Trevor, I have a spare on the bench already too...

Yea a pinion seal and maybe a new Gasket should fix a leak.. These where not leaking when pulled. Should be bolt in to any FJ40-55-60-62 or 80 rear Axle..

Im not sure, maybe an 80 GURU will chime in.. It was my understanding that all oem gear setups used solid spacers and shims..

I think 60 series had the crush sleeves, maybe even later 40 series too...not sure about that though...

80s have crush sleeves, but you can get solid pinion spacers here. This is what I used when I went to 4.88s in my 80.

the 4rd member is a very new high tech axle that im working on a patent for, UB will have the first set.

10x the strength of a 3rd member, change on the fly Gear Ratio. and more clearance than Portals..
