HOT, dry, breezy, could fry an egg on the radios. Had a difficult time setting up my fiberglass mast and it ended up not being able to support the fan dipole I made, had to resort to plan B and use my crappy G5RV that I'm sure was nothing more than a dummy load and the only thing radiating was the coax. 6&10 were dead for the most part, 15 was up and down, 20&40 were crowded. On the brighter side I was able to break a pile-up and work W1AW made it all worth it.

I was impressed with a seemingly impossible contact on 80 that Dave made on a cool little portable vertical he had.

KC0YRM's contact with W1AW on 15m was the highlight for sure. I also did make the 80m QRP contact, which was pretty cool. Even idling the radios and power supplies were super hot, which was because ambient temp was >100F and humidity was single digit, just nothing of substance in the air to cool things. It was a great time and the location (with enough awnings!) was ideal.
