well, figured i'd throw the old cat in the 80 so i could get it through emissions, and deal with a real exhaust later when i had money. spent a bit of time under the rig, figuring where to cut everything and measuring, only to find the inlet to the cat is 2 1/2, the outlet is 2 1/4 and the current exhaust is 2. i thought this would be fairly simple...i should be used to this crap by now.

It's the fustrations like that I never anticipate. A job I think will take and hour and a half ends up taking all day.. I just did the exhaust on my 60 today, so I feel your pain.
