Looking for a spare rear driveshaft from an 81-84 FJ60 (short transmission). Mine is in need of a rebuild but I’d rather keep it on the road, get a spare fixed up at Bill’s, and swap it in.

Anybody holding? @Telly @jps8460 @PVCsnorkel ?

was it the early one with the rectangular patterns vs later with the square? can you tell me a length so i can check?

45 5/8” is the resting length. Both flanges look to have rectangular bolt patterns: 2 3/8” and 2 5/8” are the distances between bolt hole centers.

look like the one i have is 42" long and has the 2 5/8 (ish) square pattern.. sorry Jim :/

You probably already know this but Cruiser Outfitters sells an yoke adaptor that will work on early or later FJ60 flange patterns. You could have Driveline Services mod your existing driveshaft too.

Drive around in Front wheel drive for a few days... It won't hurt anything
