Are you a complete noob to mechanics and trucks (like me), a total expert or somewhere in the middle? Come join DLAG for a get to know your rig night!
Slee Offroad has generously agreed to host for DLAG for the evening. They will be putting trucks on a lift so we can easily see underneath, two different trucks with commonly used designs, one IFS (independent front suspension) and one solid axle truck. The goal is to compare the differences as well as strengths and weaknesses. What parts are, what they do and how it impacts us as drivers.
Knowing the mechanics of your truck allows you to make educated purchases when it comes to mods, line choices on trail and the ability to identify an issue
when out and about. Plus pizza and drinks thanks to Rising Sun!
