Besides Medicare saving lots of $$$ on Health Insurance, there are other discounts like buying a National Park Pass for $80 and having it good for life

Good for all these parks and lots of monuments for Vehicle entry fees. I wasn't aware of this so thought I would share as I know there other other seniors (62 or older) here :)

I rode my africa twin up to RMNP on my 62nd Birthday to get mine. It comes in very handy when traveling and we want to duck into a national park or rec area.

I got mine years ago when it was only ten dollars. Great Deal. What everyone is not talking about is the pass also get you 50% off any national campsite. I love camping up in the Bighorn National forest for only $10 for some campsites.

We did this when Julie turned 62 also and then went on a National Parks tour. The discount was great for camping other than being crammed in like sardines at the Black Canyon.

Yea, I got a lifetime parks pass and was relieved to see a picture of a mountain goat on it rather than the image on the regular annual pass.
