I dont know if this helps but there is a company that makes a fabric roll that turns the ladder into a ramp for your dog.

I do have to say after 3 years of carrying our golden up and down I am pretty much over it. That ramp is awesome.

65lbs he is not that heavy. We have another coming in April and will absolutely be going back to ground tents or possibly the RTT on a small trailer.
Mine's about 60 lbs. Doable, but after a certain point, it's just one more (wobbly) thing to get situated.

Nice. Haven't looked at this, but the rig sits pretty high right now on 35's and 2.5 inches (certainly not too high for some of you!). In the photos they set the ladder on top of a box too. Wondering if you'd have to break this down to a regular ladder for a person to climb up afterwards?

It sounds like it's a cover that installs over your RTT ladder.

One of my friends used the interlocking rubber floor mats, & zip tied them onto the ladder when she set up camp for her dogs to climb up/down the ladder. She lived overlanding roam around the US like this with 2 German shepherds & another larger dog for over a year.
