Thanks Mike, I snagged a 653 one and it arrived just in time for Xmas. Can't believe the detail on this little bugger...

Found a Skynet Land Cruiser! These have been off the market for awhile.

The Gelande bodies appear to be inspired by these.

Man, those cost an arm and a leg a year or two back. I think they dropped in value when RC4WD released the fj40 they have. If I had to guess, RC4WD laser scanned the skynet body to create theirs. The rear window curves on both are tighter than the real thing, but consistent between the two models. Fishy me thinks!

It took awhile to get the ones from Japan but I think that is most of them. I found references to a green one and two tan versions I haven't been able to locate yet.

Here are some close up photos of the Sakura set. They made a plastic version of these later on that makes me think these four should be the complete set. All of them have a light on top that flashes when you switch the lever inside on. I'll have to see if the yellow one is missing the sticker on the hood. So far, this is the only time I have seen the yellow one and the two white ones.
