Still working on pics, but making some good progress today. Man this years Moab trip was an awesome time. Don't think it can get much better than remote desert roads .
they will let you take your truck onto the scale at Pioneer Sand & Gravel, down at 287 & NW Pkwy... helps if you're buying rocks. I seem to recall being close to 8000 in Chill Bill's 100 (with utility trailer) then close to 10,000 upon exit with a small load of river rock.
I went by Pioneer today and the truck weighed 8060 with the RTT, drawers, empty fridge, tools, some camping stuff, and 40 gallons of fuel. I would imagine with Ann and the rest of our provisions I'm at 8500#s.
BTW-At Pioneer I drove onto the scale, saw the weight, graciously waved thank you and was on my way. For the record, I have bought lots of rocks there so I did not feel bad.
That's nearly 185 lbs heavier than the heaviest Tundra I could build. That truck (4x4 Limited Crew Max) has cargo of 1,520 and towed weight of 8,800 lbs. Heavy mofos dey is. I could put a mini truck (crushed unfortunately, Toyota no longer sells 7 foot beds after all) in the bed of my Taco and prolly still weight less than a 200's curb weight.
