So I registered but it's still wanting a bidding license, what did you guys do?
Certain lots (vehicles) require licenses, others don't. Theres a tab where you can sort "No License Required" lots.So I registered but it's still wanting a bidding license, what did you guys do?
Im in the process of going from salvage to rebuilt, ill update this thread after my CDOT inspection.Ah, okay thanks guys I was looking non salvage titles not in Co
Salvage to rebuilt is easy. They check stuff like your windshield, wipers, horn, airbag light etc. Just purely safety items. I've had people behind me in line bring cars with bumpers hanging off dragging on the ground. Dont do that.Im in the process of going from salvage to rebuilt, ill update this thread after my CDOT inspection.
Yeah my sequoia should be good to go then, agreed with the appointment times, mine was basically two months out, and that was the soonest.Salvage to rebuilt is easy. The biggest pain is that appointments can be months out.
I always thought it was from someone not paying their loan, bank repos it, they just throw it up on an auction to recoup whatever they can. That thing is clean and only has about 33k miles. I always wonder why something like that ends up at copart.
Maybe a questionable title status? Since they paid for wash and clean service an auction may simply be the easiest way to get it in front of the most eyeballs. That thing is clean and only has about 33k miles. I always wonder why something like that ends up at copart.

Yeah Id heard about the 1KZ's being prone to head/block issues. That prado is listed by someone other than the insurance company. Title status hasn't been confirmed yet, but I bet its clean. Truck is not shown running in the image and the person selling has paid for enhanced services to make it look better for the auction.
Knowing what limited information i know about prados and 1kz's here is my assumption.
Seller bought it and then engine went bad, cracked block etc... They have a dealer license and listed the car for sale on copart because they know that this is where it will bring the most money.

Copart only has the information that the seller gives them, however you are on to one reason my assumption leads to the bad engine.@HDavis wouldn't they have to list that as damage? It says "Primary damage: Normal Wear"
Although for a 1KZ a cracked head might be considered normal and expected, so there's that.
A couple more interesting "normal wear" and "clean title"
No photo but 1970 FJ40. Says the engine runs on this listing so maybe you're to assume they don't otherwise.
