I'm lucky enough to have a friend who is a concert promoter in Denver. He's runs "HomeVibe" and for those of you who like singer/songwriters he puts on great shows with great talent. For example, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mike Doughty, Josh Queen, Dan Craig and many others.

fast lenses rule

I was shooting with either a D700 or D300 with an 85mm/1.8 or 50m/1.4 lens. I get to borrow my FIL's D700. That thing is firggin' sweeeeeet.

I have to shoot at like ISO 1250 or higher, f2.2/2.5 to get a fast enough shutter speed.
