@DanielChase I'll offer if anyone wants chainmaille, mead, and/or axe/hammer handles. I might be willing to also offer knife handles. I'm able to ship/receive anywhere USPS, FedEx, or UPS can do business. I'm centrally located in Syracuse Utah for now.

Please note, for the time being I'm not doing it for profit, just for fun & friends. I do appreciate food/drink as "bribes" 😋👍

Happy customer picture attached. Made @DomOfTheDead a hickory handle for his grandpa's engineering hammer head, and also made a short 8# sledge for those special occasions. Made @rover67 a replacement handle for his camp axe. All are shaped to fit, exterior charred, hardened, hung, oiled, and smoothed for a long life of use.

Welcome to the forum. Unusual first post bringing up an older thread to post about your business

Are you a Toyota guy wanting to hang with us or just looking to advertise your business. I do see your bio does show some Toyota 4WD's

or maybe a club member suggested you post here. We are a welcoming Toyota club so want to give you the benefit of the doubt

There is a section in Classifieds for friendly vender announcements. My first thought as moderator was to delete this post, but would like to see what you have to say first before I take that action. Be good if you plan on sticking around to post a thread in the other section about your business and why the club should use you.

We're taking on any custom fabrication jobs, just not ones that are automotive related.
So any kind of custom metal gates, fences, railings, art projects, repairs of such, and manufacturing of consistent parts, etc. We also have mobile welding capabilities, as well as design and CNC plasma cutting capabilities.

We just don't have the time to put into making custom bumpers, sliders, custom modifications, etc. The time it takes for custom automotive projects isn't worth what folks are willing to pay, so I've washed my hands of it for the time being.

Our contact info is:

I compliment your honesty regarding the cost reality of custom work. Gotta cover costs and pay yourself before anything else.

Precision Auto Glass

Amie's car was broken into, rear driver side window smashed, the night before we were supposed to fly out to visit family. Called them the next morning, and they were able to squeeze us in within 3 hours and get the glass replaced. Top notch service.

I have done some work for some club members and people on the forum. I am a Toyota guy and have been around along time just wanting to help. Was wanting to join myself but seems to be push back on businesses using the form. I was just updating an old post where people use my name instead of my business name.I will be at the meeting tonight if you want to talk in person

You are welcome here, both in person and on the forum. Look forward to meeting you at the meeting tonight.

Our caution isn't about local businesses using the forum at all. We have simply been hit with a bunch of scammers and make every attempt to identify them quickly.

Is Blue Crush Auto Glass recommended for 200 series?

Does anyone know if Paul does 200 series windshields? I know he was the local go to for 100 series.

I had Paul do my 200 and it came out great. Same quality service as I've had on the 80 and 100.

He’s amazing. Custom interior upholsterer, used to work at Sewfine. If you know, you know. He did my split window bus and it’s fabulous. Eventually I’ll have him do my headliner.

Thanks Paul! Expect a follow up on the fireman's hatchet project.

If I find my artistic fulfillment met, I might offer it if someone wants an "enhanced" $12 harbor freight whatever. I might be willing to do that along with offering handle replacement for their other fave tools. Idk if that makes sense, just happy to share what I enjoy in case it helps others 😆

Hell yeah on 4 GBs! I have 2, and I might buy more. They are awesome!

I want to suggest Blue Crush Auto Glass again. I know they’re already on here but man Terry was a huge help!

I used Terry and his business back in July. Safelite had done two prior installs (Nov and Jan ‘23) and they refused to fix my leaking windshield due to rust. Long story short, I called him and he came to our house the week after the 4th of July. He ordered all the moldings, exterior pieces, nuts, correct windshield tint (bronze), and removed the “rust” Safelite refused to touch. Needless to say, he fixed what was a stressful situation for myself (being busy in the military) and my family. We had travel plans and I ended up with a 100 with no windshield for 2/3 weeks.

I’ll never use another shop - but I imagine Paul I’m DTC is great too. Glad to know there’s a few trusted options here in CO.
