Hey, that's why I suggested an RX-300. :o My last post was kind of tounge-in-cheek. Put the back seat down and there's lot's of room! :D :D ;)

That is a great choice in vehicles but I suggest the 330 as we all know the 3slow is not the best engine Toyo has produced.

and yet it's usually teen age boys that are in the major accidents all the time

Did you miss the part where I mentioned "boyfriends" being a problem? Face it....girls seem to multi-task better but sometimes they prioritize the wrong task. Guys tend to be macho and aggresive and that gets them in deep pooh all the damn time! :blah: Moral of the story.....be smart....do the animal thing and eat your young when they are still sweet! :lmao:

The only reason I think teenagers *should* know how to drive stick is if she/he is parting and they are the only one sober and they can't drive a stick they might be willing to let someone else drive because they don't know how or can't. I guess all this is mute when you have great parents that'll come pick you up at 2am :D

Otherwise I'll be conferring with UB and Romer if I'm lucky enough to have 2 girls :D :thumb:

Father Wisdom will now speak

Being a VERY educated father in the ways of raising 2 daughters I must say that teaching your daughters to drive a stick is a MUST. Most of their friends will be amazed and astounded that they can drive a stick shift....it will even impress the guys which may be a good or bad thing  .
Bottom line.....MAKE them drive a stick for a period of time.
My daughters, now 18 and 23, both rate learning to drive a stick as a highlight!

I totally agree with the learning to drive a stick theory! Both my driving daughters have had private drivers ed lessons with a 5 speed stick. {My brother out-law (my brothers ex-wifes husband :hill: ) does drivers ed both car and CDL and if anyone is interested he's really great at it! ;) } Raising kids is (and will be) an ever changing challenge! Just when you thought you have heard/seen it all they have another birthday! :blah:

No doubt she will be learning to drive the stick. I am dealing with Mrs. Romers rule that the car she has be an automatic. Logic and Mom's rules don't always go together.

My Mother-In-Law had two girls and a son. She told her girls: "Real women drink beer and can drive a stick shift." And both her girls do both. I married the younger one.
