I appreciate the offers so much, I really do.

So far it looks like we're OK. What we want to save is packed up just in case tho. As the crow flies it's 4 miles away and we have the 4 mile burn scar that we live in it'd have to burn through that or jump to our place. Real windy last night but no new smoke plume from what I can see.

The cal-wood fire burned over a 4.5 mile distance in less than a day, so that was sobering.

I was up on the Calwood fire yesterday. The inversion never lifted and it was very mellow. I guess the Lefthand Fire was high enough that it was above the inversion layer and there were high winds. Hoping today stays calm.

It really must be moving up there. We are getting a ton of ash here in Loveland. Looks like it's full on snowing.

The smoke doesn't smell like it has the last few weeks. I'm hoping it isn't the smell of building materials.
