Trial Run into Baja Mexico- Late Winter/Early Spring 2027, Leave out of Denver for Pan America Highway June 2027 Single Vehicles – No Trailers – Recommend No Pets, Sleep in Vehicles/ RTT's. Drive to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, then over to Buenos Aires, Argentina shipping vehicles back to Houston, Texas.

Total trip is reduced to approximately 15,000 miles by shipping vehicles back via Buenos Aires and gets trip well into the 6 month window pretty comfortably.

Very interested. Have NO reason not to.

Um. Wow. I’m going to consider this. Hmmmm. 🤔
Would love to have both of you guys. How's you Spanish? Hmmmm:unsure: I know already know about your cerveza ability. Vehicles will need to be in tip-top shape! And we'll have Starlink Global Internet for communication! o_O:eek:

Some simple and basic Spanish, running Starlink as well. Bypassing Darian Gap I assume?

Definitely a bucket list trip! I wish I could take that kind of time off to do it.

Regarding the trial run, are you going into Mexico mainland or Baja peninsula? I would be interested in something like that over a couple weeks.

I’m not exactly sure what kind of preparation is required for this kind of trip. I have some friends that have done this trip from starting in Arizona in their Camptech converted 80.

I don’t think Darien Gap is even an option. Probably ship vehicles from Panama to Columbia.

I would love to hear the back story on this move!

Will take you up on that Brian. Maybe you will even join in!

Thanks for the Video link! I also have the book by Dan Grec "The Road Found Me" He drove from Alaska-Tierra Del Fuego over 2 years.

Scott, The pre-Run is open to all as well. And, open as to the route. Doesn't have to be on the same route as we'll be taking. It's more about testing the rigs and the people on what it will take to make the trip.

Dave, if you would like to plan a pre run trip I’m familiar enough with Baja to lead a group down. It’s a fantastic excuse to test rigs (and people) and dial in gear.
Baja, in my experience, is safe and it’s a perfect opportunity to experience border crossings, get remote, and practice Spanish with locals.

Been visiting a Peruvian family down there for over 15 years (Trujillo), love the country and been looking at houses to retire down there.
Sounds wonderful! Goodluck!

I am defiantly up to doing a leg of this trip. Will have a 17 year old who’s currently learning Spanish by then and can help with the driving!

I went to Peru a few years ago, and it was likely my favorite place I have ever visited.

If I win the lottery, I'm in!

I've met several people who have done this trip on motorcycles. They all loved the experience.
