It took some work to figure it out, but this is the year, baby!
Must have been too windy. Were you at that game a few years ago where they landed over by the Pepsi Center? couldn't hit the stadium, the wind took them across the highway.

Think I have missed a total of 3 home games in the past 12 years. I do remember the jumpers not being able to hit the stadium, but not where they ended up. Those guys must have brass b@#!!. To not only jump from a perfectly good airplane, but to jump into a stadium with many guide wires strung around...
I was wondering how they do that with all those wires? Wasn’t sure if they lowered them or what???
They called it on wind for the pregame before they took off. They called it for wind while they were circling the stadium for the halftime jump. They have someone up by the statue on top of the stadium with an anemometer checking the wind speeds up to the point of leaving the plane. It's a sketchy jump on a calm day, when the breeze kicks up, the wind gets a mind of its own swirling around the stadium.
They move the cables out of the way as much as possible but they are still there. They do a practice jump on the day before the game when possible.

Any chance they'd want to do a practice jump sometime onto my property (about 5 acres with open fields, plus Broomfield County open space behind) with our party ambulance as the target? Basically 160th and Huron. That would make for one heck of a photo shoot...

Anyone else see the jumper who hit the wire at the College bowl game recently?
He was luck to hit that with his canopy lines and not the flag line! That had the potential to be really bad!
Looking forward to the playoffs. I hope they play Sunday the 18th as Saturday is my Granddaughters 4th birthday and party
I would guess we will play San Diego again, but New England is on a hot roll. Then it would be likely the Bills. The Steelers would be the easier team IMOP, but nothing is easy at Playoff time.
As I understand it, we will either play the Steelers, Chargers, Texans or Buffalo as they are the 4 lowest seeds

Playoff football has been fun to watch!
Happy to see the Bills win. I would much rather see the Broncos face a beat up and battered Bills, then the red hot Jags again. So now just need the Chargers to lose.

So by this measure, they should play Saturday then, correct?For planning!
Looks like the Broncos will be playing either the Bills or Chargers Saturday
After the Chargers lost they said the Bills Broncos game is staurday, but won't know until if it is the early or late game until after tomorrows game
I think the other saturday game is 49's and Seahawks, so hopefully they will take the later time slot having the earlier time zone than the bills or broncos
