The wonderful time of year we call the NFL season is upon us once again. Last season the Broncos surprised a lot of us when they did so well and even hosted the AFC Championship game. Only to lose in a snowy game played poorly by a backup QB. So I know this season the hopes are high as Bo Nix is back and healthy, and that they added some star power to their WR room with Waddle. Questions still remain with Payton giving up play calling duties for first timer Davis Webb to take over. I know my though was and still is, can't be worse than the constant screen passes that were thrown last year. They supposedly have the best offensive line in the league and a top ranked defense. Should be very competitive once again this year.
At least that was the thought before their opening game in KC went the way it did... Jax embarrassed Denver last year. I think they will be ready for them this year. Though, I am hoping someone researched "how to tackle". If not, it may be another long game...
So what are your thoughts about this season?
I have spent the afternoon prepping for our first tailgate of the season. The ambulance we tailgate out of got cleaned up, tuned up, and stocked with the essentials
And I have the meal prepped and ready to go as well. Going to be doing steak fajitas along with refried beans, rice, green chili, salsa, fresh guacamole, sour cream, 3 different cheese assortments, hot pepper pico, and lettuce. And having people bring an assortment of chips and dips, desserts, and of course alcohol.
If you are headed out to any of the games this year and can find your way past our lot, come say hi and/or introduce yourself if we haven't met before. There is always plenty of food, fun, and drinks. You can't miss us as we are the only ambulance in our lot.
