Hmmm, good to know. I would need to test laptop web access first to be sure... which is hard to do unless I am actually on call and have the dadgum BlackBerry, in which case I would not have tested it first... ow, my head hurts. We had cell service most of the trail, including the lake itself!
Quite the group you guys had out there! That was me in the green FZJ80 coming down just as you were all starting up the trail.
Hi Sheba, so did you go on another run? Helen thought you were going to go with us and didn't know what became of you. We speculated that you might have gone with the Chinaman group?
Nope I had to work that day out in Fort Collins.
Cool. What time did you start heading up in the morning?
Bummer! So are still going to write copy? If so, are you going to interview Helen for the story?
Thanks to Jeff and everyone for a great run. A BIG thank you to Kevin for letting my son and I ride with him. Hopefully next year I'll be able to do the run in my own Toyota!!

I went out and purchased the Sunday paper and could not find the article. Thank you Sheba and Helen for the writing and photography!
It was in the Saturday edition.![]()
And I made a special trip and paid $1.50 for the Sunday edition!!!![]()
Yeah! I'm so sorry I had to miss it, but I'm pleased Helen R. got to do the photos! She is one of our best photogs at the paper. Thank you everyone for allowing a Postie to tag along. The article about noobie trails will appear in this Saturday's paper with photos from the run!
Will Helen be able to release her photos to the group for viewing? Just curious because she took some sweet shots of me climbing one of the steeper hills and I would love to get hold of that!![]()
Haven't heard back. I should write again![]()
I hope that wasn't too many. They're smaller because they're from Facebook. If you want to see all 62 pics, check out my Facebook album.
