Damn I thought I have road rage when I honk a lil or flash my high beams at others, to either go at a green light or to turn down their constant-on high beams.

Glad you're alright.

If it makes you feel better, consider some people drive you screwy while others just screw you. That guy is the latter.

Hopefully the police find him. That is unacceptable driving behavior.

I was down at the Police station yesterday looking at photos to try and identify him. Unfortunately I was focused on the 911 call and trying to get him away from the school and didn't really get a great look at him. They are calling it an Assault case. I wish I had taken some pics or videos...but hard to do when on the phone (illegally while driving???) and shifting gears in the 40 etc. Dang.....

Looks like things are moving forward.

First of all, don't second guess what you did or didn't do, you were attacked and did the best that you could under stressful circumstances. As for what you can and can't remember that is also normal under stress. To help you with your memory consider starting to journal/write down what you do remember. Try and be as detailed as possible but once you've had enough just set it aside for a day or so and then come back to it to edit or add new things you remembered. This all will become important if it goes to court.

As for remembering the driver, it sounds like they may have already shown you some mugshots/Drivers License photos so you now have those images in your memory but, like the journaling, consider setting the thought of what he looks like aside for a couple of days and then come back to thinking and noting wha the looked like. It maybe you just didn't see him with everything going on but, if you do have a slight memory of him this may help you visualize him.

Also, don't worry if you have to modify or change something you've told or written the Police. They can always add a report modification to the case file now versus on the witness stand.

Goodluck!

Thank you Paul! That is all greatly appreciated.

Yes, I can get in a spiral of "what should I have done differently". I still sometimes spiral about my house fire.....
