I was a good boy last year and Santa dropped off the Nikkor 14-24mm/2.8 It's friggin' amazing! Although, I was initially challenged with composition since it's sooooooooooo wide. I'm getting the hang of it.

My camera is a DX format, but I'm lucky enough to get to borrow my father-in-law's D700 (FX) quite a bit. That lens really shines on the FX format but works just fine for DX - although, it's kinda of a weird focal length on Dx. I got other that pretty quick.
The really yellow building on the right is the Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan Basilica. The building with the arches is called the Feldherrnhalle. The church is a dead give-away if you happen to know it. Es ist sehr gelb, auch mit grauen Licht...
We stood in that exact spot I think walking from the Bayerische Staatsoper over to the Court Gardens (Hofgarten) and eventually down to Prinzregentenstraße.
Just noticed the lady walking her child. That's something I remember about Germans (we went in Feb/March, too) is that they don't let anything stop them from taking their kids out in the world.
