I agree and see that it is shipped by a Chinese company. I did check the Walmart website and they have it listed for $604. Sold and shipped by Walmart. So it says.

Walmart is advertising the twin ARB compressor online for $245. 😳
Thanks. But I thinks that’s a Chinese knock-off.

Can you assemble it with the 5mm bolt and a sleeve that steps the OD of the bolt from 5 to 6mm?

Great question.

I suspect theoretically you can but, one thing ARB keeps mentioning in their repair notes is how "violent" the pump's piston/axle/crank spin to make the speed, to produce the air volume so, I suspect a 1mm sleeve that the axle spins on wouldn't survive very long under those conditions.

Thanks. I appreciate the idea.

Insult to Injury.

The new ARB piston rebuild kit even starts it’s for a ā€œM5/M6ā€ axle!

End of the story.

I found a NIB ARB Compressor on FBMP for $200 and just went that way. Took 10 minutes to install and back to work for this weekends trip!

I will hang onto the old one and all the tune-up parts as parts for future tune-up on this one.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
