You can connect Longwater and Hackett? I did not know that, how's it run?
Ran Hackett last year and can imagine it would get wild if it was slick.

There is a turn off to the north side of the trail that leads down to the river. You can cross there and the connection road travels along the far side of the river to the water crossing at Longwater. Or visa versa.

I've seen front diff mounts break, then the diff flex and punch a hole in the oil pan. Kind of a bad design by Toyota.

So was it blasting the deep water that's covering your 37's in his Taco? Is that what did it? Was it right there in that spot that the Taco bought it?

ooo that looks deep.
No pics or vid of the actual incident. The next crossing I was leading, wanting to get across and video the other guys crossing. Came in at a more reasonable speed than the first crossing. When I thought I was finished going down the bank I hit the gas to come up the other side. Well front dropped in further. Idiot mistake, hitting the gas it took a breath, a deep breath under water.
OK, got ya, hope the insurance will help out. If you made that first one in Squishys video I don't think you have anything to feel bad about that's really really deep.

Heres the vid of me going through the first crossing. To be honest I'm surprised I made this crossing fine after watching the vid. Didn't seem nearly as deep the week before.
Andy, thanks and yes. USAA has it going over to ATLR to get the final diag.
