Anyone know of a company in Denver that will do a little tig welding? My new aluminum radiator has a little pin hole spot on the top tank that the manufacturer missed.

I was going to suggest Dave, as he is really good but then saw he already posted.

I would offer but not on a radiator. I would probably end up making that waaaayyyyy worse.

I'll call them tomorrow, thanks! U going to moab?
Not for CM, though I might be in town then. I was planning to have already been over, but all my usual wheelin' mates have small kids and none can take the time.

Lol Dave! Sounds like we both feel the same way. I’m getting better with aluminum but the thought of ultra thin radiator fins makes me cringe.

Sounds like white stripe has a good option in Len’s.

I called Lens, he said I would have to remove the radiator to have it welded. It is literally a pin prick of a leak on the very top of the radiator out in the open along one of the beads where one weld has a little pinhole in the center of it. Im just going to epoxy it. Even if I drove as is it seeps very slightly. If I could weld aluminum it would take me 2 seconds to put a tack weld in that spot and be done.

If you want to bring it all the way up to Ft Collins happy to let you use my welder. I have a Lincoln Squarewave 200. Just not sure I want to personally promise anything since aluminum can be tricky and I just don't have enough experience to judge matching material, filler, temp without something to experiment on first. JB Weld is probably as good a solution as any, though.

Thank you, I appreciate the offer man. I bought some aluminum epoxy, it is such a small seep, I think it will work and be easiest. If it ever gives out Ill have it welded.

Didn’t realize it was on a weld. I thought it was on a fin. Probably could patch that but the epoxy will work just fine.
