I'm about to drop my t-case for UD gears I bought from @cruiseroutfit and I keep going back and forth on spending the $ on low range gears. Then I read a post like this and think it would be dumb not to do it when the case is apart.
having recently done both ud & lr gears...definitely do the combo. it perks things up a bit with 35's. theres a tiny bit of whine but whatever, its not a quiet vehicle anyways. I also used the trail grear low range set..As controversial as they may be, theyre working for me and the price was right.

@Lastresort576 I agree with you and I'm ordering the Trail Gear low range gears today. If Cruiser Outfitters offers this brand as an option then I know the quality must be good. They only sell have top notch parts.

FWIW I did the Trail Gear instead of the Sumo gears from Cruiser Outfitters for both high and low range and am very pleased. The Sumos weren't available at the time and Cruiser Outfitters assured me the Trail Gear ones were a quality gear set. Some complain about the noise (from both/either?) but I've either already lost the ability to hear that frequency or they aren't loud. They did get quieter after some break in. Also, if you do this, realize there's griding to fit as well as a decent amount of press work involved Matt. You've had the truck set up like that for a while, maybe no need to change, IDK... It's a different job than a seal replacement for sure.

Here's the instructions linked on Cruiser Outfitters site for your entertainment:

when doing my tcase gears I followed George’s YouTube videos to the T. I believe it’s the guy that owns valley hybrids in CA. Off the top of my head there was only a few little details left out.
