My pops is upgrading his 49 F1 pickup to power steering and is looking for a power steering box from a 79 to early 84 toyota 4x4 pickup. It is supposed to bolt right on. Anyone know of anything around these parts? I asked for a part number and he is on a side mission to get that info. Will update when that gets to me.

FYI - If you can swallow the price without a core to turn in, Rock Auto had remanned ones (a while back). They are very hard to find on Mud or anywhere else, partly due to all the FJ40 conversions as well as the Ford pickup conversions.
He just bought a reman on online. $700 shipped with 3 yr warranty. Seems like a lot until you are old and have jacked up shoulders and can longer handle double clutching all the time and wrenching the wheel just to turn.
