So are we running it all the way down to flagstaff road? Where was this icy off camber you were talking about?

I’m back! ( daughters bday party ). I’m up for anything. I’ve done Switzerland a couple times in the winter starting at Gold Hill and heading south. If we want to keep wheeling. I can also be there at 1pm if you want to start earlier.

Sticking with 2pm. Might be able to make it 15 minutes or so sooner.

GMRS, channel 11.
Privacy code? Also what waypoint are we going to try and make it to? Are we just doing an in and out or is there another way to go through?

Not sure about privacy codes. Never used one.

Well we will go as far as we feel comfortable going. In and out. No other ways in or out. We can try Winiger but I think it’s closed.all changes with that white stuff on the ground.

Sounds good, I've never not used privacy codes but I'm sure we will figure that. I would assume privacy code 1 is just the basic channel 11. See you there at 2 or earlier.

Thanks for the heads up. I know most of the land owners over there so I think, we should be good to go. Just FYI, the road is no private. It’s a public road.
It’s a public easement across private land. That's a really common thing in the mountains, but it isn't usually in such a populated area. Just be polite & don't tear things up, as most of 68J residents on the west side of the reservoir have, "Had it up to here" with Boulder traffic/campers/shooting and are organized & already talking with both the county & the forest service about new rules to put in place. And honestly they are good at it.

The waypoint you guys are talking about is just the corner of Magnolia & 68J. It is well signed, and the paddock right there usually has Alpacas in it. Also if you come up Magnolia to get there, keep an eye out for Yaks in the fields!

Thanks for coordinating this @LC200TX. I’ll attach some pictures.

Also, the sketchiest part was when I turned left at gold hill and gravity slid down the first 200ft of Lick Skillet road!

Was a great time! Let’s do it again soon 🤙
Absolutely I had a blast and I'm super stoked how well my suspension upgrades turned out.

FYI 68J was fine on Saturday in my 2006 LC on stock size tires street pressure AHC on high, ARB lockers were used on first section (Westbound) out of an abundance of caution.
