66 fastback/64.5 convertible

Trying out a wheel/tire package 205/60/15. I need to get the front end suspension down by 2 inches or so, but overall I think I like it. If anyone has examples of something else that could look cool I'd love to see it!

No clearcoat yet, but the base is down and I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Similar project a friend is doing. It has been Coyote’d.

Very cool! I went back and forth on going coyote or not. In the end, I decided I still want that old school rumble on this one. So much so I am going with a stroker. That thing with a coyote is gonna be crazy... What color is he going with? Curious what wheel/tire sizes those are as well.

I’ll ask about tires/wheels. He bought the (FL) car as completely ready to go car but it was far from it when it arrived. Can’t remember the paint name but it’s the OG green for the year. It will be super sweet when it’s finished, just as yours will be!

Gotcha. During all the research I did on the paint I found out the green from 65 is different than the green in 66. They look almost identical but 66 has metallic in it and 65 doesn't. I sent the wrong one initially assuming they were the same. I'm sure he has it all figured out but happy to share paint codes if it helps.
