so i finally finished the crossover steering and when i went to put the passanger side tire on the tierod end was hitting the tire the question is what to do now i have a 38.5 x 15" x15" bogger on a 15x10 rim with 3.75 backspacing, i've tried putting in some 1/4" wheel spacer's only to find out that the tierod still hit so then i doubled the spacer to see what would happen that gave me about 1/8" space between the tierod end and the tire is that enough or should i have more ??? not sure what to do???

Pics??

I think standard Toyota disc back spacing is 3 5/8". I put a 4x4 Labs Hi-Steer setup on my project FJ40, but I'm running a 3" back spaced wheel with 35" SSRs.

talked to luke today and he said to use a set of 1/2" spacers and to grind down the tierod end a little bit..
