Here are some of my pics. Overall is was a great day. Matt and I had a great time and Jake and Charlie got along very well.:)

1. Jake with the Hulk.
2. The 40s at lunch (the Hulk is in a hole, its really not that small:rolleyes:)
3. Bill gets a bit of air.
4. The rear view of Bill's 40. The orange bag is a very well equipped EMT kit.
5. Uncle Ben's 40 following us down the hill.:D

I was glad to see you guys run RE Hill. You needed a little more challenge and it's such a fun trail and loop especially when you compare it to the traditional BM Lake trail.

Thanks guys!

Subzali, I actually like the placement of the tire there, out of the way, and doesnt rattle or make noise like stock carrier I had before, plus The ratchet I used to attach it only cost $8 as opposed to a built aftermarket tirecarrier which would cost me $800. :D

Anyways ill get lots of pictures up in about 45 minutes.

Great pics! Thanks for posting them up! Glad someone got a pic of the Red Elephant Tree. ;)

And, Thanks for the play-by-play on the gladly accepted strap!:o :D Pics don't do justice to how soft, and off camber that section is. I slid sideways further than I made forward progress in that stuff.

Man I wish I could have made this run. I tried to get my dad to take his 40 but he had to work. I split the Tcase from the tranny again so my 40 is out until I take the time to mill the adapter for bolts.

I never even saw the "red elephant" -- that's so cool. Where was it on the trail?

It's up along the flatter top section of the trail after we come through that grove of soft top eating aspen trees and before the turn off for Mill Creek. I mentioned it on the CB as I passed it, but my radio isn't working so great. :)

Wow, I didn't know about the red elephant in the tree! That is so cool!

Max, I'm just joshing ya - a bit ;) That's cool that you put FJ60 axles under your truck too - that's gotta help the stability quite a bit so :thumb: to you!

nice looking run fellas. I have to admit, since I broke up with the guy who gave me my FJ40, it's been really hard to get close to it without crying. These pics of the 40s out on a trail fills me with the happiness and respect I initially had for my FJ. I'm working on it this weekend!

Sheba - we have a lot going on this weekend and it would be one of the few weekends you shouldn't be working on your 40. Saturday is the Rising Sun Rally, and Sunday we have trail runs. I'll be happy to give you a seat with me on Bill Moore!

Sheba-take Jeff's offer for the seat; it'll be great.

Personally I have a family engagement on Saturday and have to travel on Sunday or I would be at the rally and on the Sunday runs.

Looks awesome fellas, I am so bummer to have missed it! What a treat to see so many 40's on the trail. In Moab this year, I was the ONLY 40 on all three of my runs with the event.
Nice to see so many doing what they do so well.

Saturday sounds great! I can't go to Bill Moore though because I have a senior portrait session that day in downtown Denver. I need to read back over all the posts to see when and where for Saturday and thank you for the invite. I seriously need to get out of my house. I feel like I've been hiding out.

Does anyone have Bills email still? ( the guy with the big yellow 40)

He gave me his buisness card but it flew out my shirt pocket on the way home from wheeling. Completely forgot about it until now.

Thanks!
