Any idea how long of a trip this is? I've only ever been up the ironclads proper, but not done any of the other roads out there. Also, we've still got a decent amount of snow on the ground up here, so the roads up at that elevation might have even more.
Hi. Not really sure but figuring only a few hours. Hoping the snow is passable. Just looking to get out so if we need to divert we can go play in lefthand or try Miller rock.
Where are you?
Bummer. Yea we got about 12-18" of snow in that last storm. I think most of the mellow stuff up around Estes Park in the FS is still closed too. Not sure what the status is of Big Elk meadows to Johnny Park, but I remember the Big Elk side having some pretty gnarly sections on it.
Edit: never mind, FS website says Johhny park is also closed. ;(
Man, there are gates everywhere up there, my bet is they are actually closed.
I didn't even think about it.
bummer dude.. bunce is probably kinda fun right now.
Switzerland Maybe? I bet it is probably just a bunch of puddles now though.. which makes it just a road type thing. I was just up that way biking and it was muddy not snowy.
