Edit found one

Just bought a 78 40 and it needs a motor. It’s knocking pretty bad. Checking to see if anyone has a good running 2F to swap in???

You might have the guys at Well Sorted in BV keep an eye out for you. They do conversions often.

Pics! Has been a plow truck in James town for 20+ Years. It needs a sill and quarters patched but I’ll try and blend that in. The original paint shined up with about 20 seconds of love and compound. Should be a fun truck when it’s done. Sounds like a rod is about to hit eject at any moment though.

Call Justin at red line
Or the new person (Brett or similar) not Merl at Classic Cruisers

Also they show up on Craig’s regular like

I have a box of emissions parts you can come get for some beer if the new one or old one doesn’t have them and you need to smog it

That’s a cool truck btw

Why not just rebuild the one that's in it? Looks like another 40 in the garage :)
Yea, the spring green is a 45, 40 is next it in the garage. I would love to rebuild it however with 2 little ones, work and everything in between I don’t think I have the time. To keep things moving I think swapping in a used motor and calling it good is my best bet. At that point I could rebuilt the original motor and not worry how long it takes.

Well, Well Sorted doesn’t have any and neither does Redline.
Classic cruisers website has “rebuildable cores” available for 2k.
Jeremiah said he has a few but I’m expecting them to be pricey. I’ll know soon.

I’ll probably have to wait for something to pop up on CL.
