Learned my lesson after I broke the boxed buttery chardonnay on this desert trip! Kinda crunched my cigars aswell.....but an awesome adventure!

Looks like I'll be running the Colorado BDR section #3 and #2 backwards. Basically meeting in Buena Vista and then heading South.

Still waiting for some of the passes to get cleared. Got a really busy summer so this'll be a couple days of riding and camping and then back home.

Update:

Due to business, events, conflicting schedules and a massive vacation coming up I've finalized the dates for the 2026 MotoCamp Run.

The week of October 13-16, 2026. This will be a 3 days of riding, 2 nights of camping with a 4th day set aside for any unforeseen adventures or breakdowns. We'll most likely be meeting at the McDonalds in Idaho's Springs on the morning of the 13th (subject to change) and head south to do Sections 1, 2, 3 of the Colorado BDR. We'll be disperse camping each night.

Finalized details will be posted shortly. Most of this route is easy with some moderate technical sections on the passes. I can assure you this is not meant to be an enduro single-track race but, a easy going ride with new friends. Besides, I'm not that good anyway so, there's that.
