WTF? You are not a Rubiqueen owner Snow is your friend! :lmao:

Ha ha, sorry should have clarified. I plow snow for the City of Wheat Ridge as part of my job. If it's threatening to snow then I'm on call.

Doesn't look like much of a chance of anything falling from the sky between now and then. Here or there. :(

Hopefully there was some fresh snow coming down up there today. It will fun either way.

Probably a better day for the wagon Cheesman. But, who knows what the conditions will be like. You have to figure slick and icy down low.

I'm sure they got quite a bit up there.
Once again the weather report was wrong...
But that's a good thing this time. :thumb:
I'm just sorry I'm gonna miss out. But I've only got half a drive train at the moment.:hill:

I was up on Mount Alto last night and there was a pretty good covering. I would say about 8 inches. Praying for more up in central city!

Where exactly is the "Normal spot" we are meeting at? Can you list some more specific directions for first timers?

Thanks for asking, I was just about to do the same.

^That is correct. Depending on where you come up from, you may pass through Black Hawk but ultimately head toward Central City and follow the main street through town heading West'ish. You'll keep climbing up the hill as you get out of downtown, and you'll pass some oddly placed town homes on your left up on the hill. The road will eventually turn from pavement to dirt and you'll hit a fork in the road where the dirt lots are and where lots of trucks, trailers and other toys are parked. That's the meeting spot.

Thanks for clarifying Matt. It should be fun. It looks like about 15 rigs so far. If some of the veterans and built rigs that are aired down early and ready to go they can go out ahead of the main group as usual. It's looks like most people have does this run before so the newcomers won't have to worry. I think we are all getting to know what to expect and how it goes up there after all the years of doing this.

Basically there are several side roads to explore and get stuck on where sub groups of rigs can separate and play. That's a normal thing to do on runs. Expect it's ok on this run. Then we re-connect on the main road and continue heading up to Yankee Hill. Where we may or may not make it over into Fall River road. Channel 4 and the 146460. Side groups can choose to use an alternate freq.

Just make sure you don't leave the person behind you. Sometimes that's even tough for me to do on this run. It's tests your patience. But, it's of the utmost importance with all the spur trails and navigation involved. Especially near the beginning hour of the run. Communicate with the person behind you if you decide to follow a side group. This stuff will happen. It's OK - have fun.
