Is an extremely well trained Dog allowed?

This will be my 1st Rally and since I am in San DIego, it is close. I have my ex-military german Shepherd K9. she is EXTREMELY NICE and not a threat to anyone at all. I have and will continue to bet my ife on it. her main job was explosives in the middle east, etc. If a Dog is Allowed and this may be my 1st Rally WHAT do I need to bring. I have a stock 2000 Land Cruiser. THANK you for taking time to help out a newbie.

That's the way to look at it! If you can drive it with only one overnight stop--it's close in my book. Well, close enough. ;)

Come see us next year.....and....

"Hooyah" is an Army term.
"Semper Fi" is short for Semper Fidelis and is the Marine Corps motto.

They should never be mixed together. Some will understand, some wont.

But please don't make this a service rivarly thing. I think all of us who have been there and done that and continue to do that, the last thing we want to spemd our free time discussing is this. My bad for signing off with a simple statement but I should of been smart enough to know it would tie some peoples' underwear and/or pannties in a knot. All the best and now back to the Land Cruisers!!

I doubt you tied Stan's undies in a knot :D He was a marine, once a marine always a marine

The services are all very different. Take the simple task of securing a building

The Navy would smack it with Tomahawks

The Marines would kick the door down and clear the building of all inhabitants

The Army would secure a perimeter around it and await for further orders

The Air Force would sign a one year lease with options

BTW - thank you for your service

SInce I have seen combat with the MArines STA and the SeALs, I will agrree with you that is there is every a battle betwen the BIG countries the NAVY's tomahawks w/ nuclear arnement located of the coast of XYX county in one of our Boomer Submarines will be the 1st and last punch. Unfortunatley in this grunts eyes we spend all of this $$ (our tax dollars) And myself and others are not allowed to use almost any of it due to the ROE and when you have to clear room to room and cave to cave and hut to hut, technogly and our $$ can only help you out so far. BEST weapon every seen used Fallujah Nov 2004 Catipiler Armorered D9 Bulldozers (borrowed from Isreal) To run over everything and EVERYONE!

For the record, the greatest thing I have ever seen is a Specter working the night shift in Habbaniyah.

Anyway, this was my first rally, thanks for a great event! I brought my big blue 40, and my brother (Ian from Slee) drove my new '99 100 Series. I'm one of those weird, multiple-Cruiser guys now. Wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to pick up an old Marine buddy from the airport so I could take him around Colorado. I think he's ready to get out of Houston and head up here.

Thanks to all - organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, participants, and anyone else I forgot - for making it a great Rally.

It was a treat for me to come down and be a part of it this year!

TJ, you were in the 55 with the 3FE in it, right? Damn, I wish I had made it by to see it and talk to you. How is it running these days? I know you had to put a bunch of effort into the swap and I wanted to see your results. Next time.
