7/22/11 Day 3, Alpine Loop

This was my first time on this run as last year's Metal Tech party left me with gut rot and a massive headache, which sucked since Sharkbait was the trail leader and it would have been nice to be on a trail with another RS member. The day was long but worth it and we made it back to the Metal Tech party as it was getting underway. The first pic on this post is of a set of stickers I help put up (I do not remember this and was told I was WASTED) and has lasted since the 2010 Metal Tech party. The rest are the start of Alpine Loop, Mineral Creek or Point (I forget) to the start of Engineer Pass.

7/23/11 Day 4 Imogene to Ophir Pass
(part 1) the the start of Imogene Pass
Had a great day and was planning not to hit the last leg but was extremely glad I completed it.

We really didn't seem to have as much traffic as we did last year, but I guess one of the tour trucks was being nasty to the summit groups he passed....can't win them all but the hikers we helped seemed to love us (pic 3).
