2011 Argentine Pass Cleanup Run 2 - SEPT. 25

Olivia (14 year old daughter) and I will be there, and yes we are excited. It is her first 'real' trip offroad, and she might even get a little driving lesson at some point.

I'll be trying to get the day off, might be behind by a hour or two.

EDIT: Date changed to September 25 to not conflict with Outlaws Run.

When: Sunday, September 25, 2011. Meet at 9am, roll at 9:30am

Where: Argentine Trailhead off of Guanella Pass Road

Communcations: Ham 146.460, CB Channel 4 (may switch depending on radio traffic)

What to bring:

1. 
   Water
2. Food
3. Warm Clothes
4. Work boots/long pants, hats, gloves
5. Trash bags

The Plan:
Clean up some items that we discovered during this summer's 1st cleanup run. Possibly install carsonite, and then enjoy the view of the valley in some way, shape, or form.

Please let me know if you plan on attending and I will alert the Forest Service. We have to give them 10 days notice.

Just found out I'll be able to make it to represent the Forest Service. I'll be bringing the carsonite sign materials and tools as well. I'll need a ride from someone, so hopefully there is a free seat.

FYI - Depending on how many folks show up, there is now very limited parking at the trail head due to the new paving on the Guanella pass rd. So, you may have to park down below the switchback near the trailhead. There is an ATV parking area down there.
