On the way out the last two trucks happened upon a TV set that had been shot/smashed/burned that took a while to clean up, but that's about it. We should have snapped some photos of the mess that all the broken glass made.
Dad is already planning to drive the 40 back up from NM next year for it. You DEFINITELY should have come Matt.

I did not have many really good photos, so here is what I thought were my best ones. We had a good time and enjoyed Argentine and running over Guanella to 285 and then back home.

Glad you could make it! We need to do some more Rising Sun / Horsetooth runs in the future.

Awesome, Dan! Great video, thanks for taking the time to build that. The high speed sections are really cool, almost makes driving in a 40 look smooth.

The band for all three songs in the video is Brave Saint Saturn. They rock. They are a mostly Denver band, and an offshoot of the greatest band that ever existed: Five Iron Frenzy. FiF broke up in 2003, and Brave Saint Saturn hasn't released an album for a few years, but they don't leave my ipod.
