Have a high school or college kid who needs good gas mileage?? Do I have a deal for you. 
Very rare 2 door Golf TDI! Runs and drives amazingly, I have been driving it lately and it is a lot of fun! Perfect car for a college kid who will LOVE the awesome MPG this diesel gets!!
So it was my girlfriend's son's car at college and we just got him a 4Runner, so time for this fun car to go. I don't know a whole lot about it, but here is what I know.
Runs and drives great, no damage, newer tires. It has an adjustable suspension, it is lowered now but easy to raise it.
Just spent $2k getting it ready to sell...new CV axles, new DEF filter, alignment etc.
2 issues with the car...one is the carffax title for some reason says total loss vehicle. It was rear-ended in 2021 and the insurance company paid out $5k to fix it, and it was perfectly fixed, I have the receipts and everything from the repair. You cannot see a single issue. Insurance company seemed a little confused too?
2nd issue is there is a light on for the ABS module. Which makes a couple other lights come on also. The ABS module is $500 or so to replace and I just have sunk too much of my own cash in this! I will deduct $1k for the issue. Carfax and bluebook value it around $6500 so I am asking $5500 OBO. I have been told by a few people now that it is probably wheel speed sensors, which is a lot cheaper! If it doesn't sell after I get back from CM I will prob do those.
trades! I am a toyota-aholic so any toyota trades would be welcomed! Asking $5500 on CL and FB, better deal for Rising Sun folks.
