See my signature for the vehicles I have now. I used to have a 95 FZJ-80, maroon with a white top. My son has it now in Ark. Most of us put our rigs and mods in our sig line.

yup seen up both, very nice and clean 40
lotus creek rd has a nice rock obstacle then scenic after that, goes to slaughterhouse gulch then to cumberland, stock cant get through the obstacle i dont think, also tellurium is the road before taylor, never drove it but typical rocky rough road above timber line, and there is another road near the top of taylor pass, called taylor divide takes you to star mountain and some mines, use to connect with east brush creek just thrown out other options, i dont care

I work on the west end of Lakewood and was planning on leaving at noon Friday from there. Would I get to Dorchester about 6pm?

probably more like 3 -3:30. it's only 2 to BV and maybe an hour over cottonwood pass.

Maybe that may not be a bad thing. Are other RS folks going to be there around that time? If not, I could probably loaf around and get down there later.

camping is here: right on the corner of 2nd left off co742 where you can see the turnaround and down along that rd on the right are spots.

I'm in. I'll be bringing the faux-lux. Not sure yet if I'll just leave Idaho Springs real early, or try to camp on Friday night (I don't get back to DEN until 8:25 Friday night), but I'm planning on the run either way...

Wes, I may have a couple of local guys come along if that is OK. One has a highly moded FJ Cruiser and the other a Jeep (but he drive a 100 series LC). Terry

Dan, We will use simplex 146.460 and if for some reason that is in use we'll use 146.580. It's difficult to get repeater down in the valley north of taylor lake from what I remember.
I've heard some people want to run lead king and I haven't heard anyone definite with a camper so we'll go with the change up plan. NOTE: 2 different camp spots
-Fri night camp dorchester.
-Taylor pass to Ashcroft
-pearl pass to CB
-Sat Camp schofield, maybe check out the bells with a short hike @ the top of schofield
-lead king
- check out crystal mill
-paradise divide
-burrito teocalli tamali in CB

Chris, with the change in route it should not be a long day for the kids. You could probably veer off and take them into town to the playground etc.
