How many miles on the old engine or, miles total on the truck?
What leather did you use? Looks nice.

The original engine had around 250k miles on it. Miles total on the truck is around 275k. Regarding the leather, it is from L-Seat (https://www.lseat.com/). The truck has been hardly driven since Oct 2021. Would love to talk with you about it. 720-879-4911.

Thanks for all of the feedback. A little about me and the truck..... I purchased the truck from the original owner in Houston in 2013. I have all of the original doc, including the import certificate (original sales brochure, etc). Just before covid the original engine dropped a valve. Really rare for these beasts. If I recall correctly, the mileage was around 250,000 (I included a pic of the current odometer--it has about 5,000 on it. During covid I was working from home and decided to replace the engine, etc. as a project. I sourced the engine from SLEE Offroad in Golden. It was one of their customer's trucks that had been in an accident and totaled. They purchased the engine. Their best guess was that the engine had 100k on it. While I had the engine bay empty and the new engine on a stand I did everything I could think of in the engine bay....motor mounts, steering rack, etc. On the donor engine I did everything I could think of, short of opening the block. Not lock after I wrapped the project up, in Oct 2021 I lost my vision. Basically the truck hasn't been driven since then. I have retired out of the country and my son who lives near Longmont is selling it for me. Incidentally, I kept all of the bolt ons from the original engine and the donor engine as spares (starter, alternator, etc.) and put all new ones on the truck. It also includes the 3 volume shop manual set. AHC works great, air conditioning components replaced (Front and Rear), etc. Love talking about this truck, so give me a call. Wish I could have brought it to South America.

@choxie

Looks like a nice truck GLWS. As it's your first post on the forum I'd encourage you to post in the chat section and introduce yourself to the group.
Thanks, Corbet. This is great feedback. I currently live in South America, and my truck is in Longmont with my son. I added more information because of the great feedback.
