More OEM goodness tonight.

Bruce did the seats approximately 4 years ago. Yikes. "We're gonna work on it one night a week till you're done" he said :)

But you did manage to finish before the deadline. Now you can turn your attention to your new project.

I couldn't stand the NAPA battery cables on there with the splice for the main power wire so I made some new ones with parts from Del City. I also noticed the hubs are supposed to be red dials not silver so I ordered new ones from Cruiser Outfitters and will keep these as spares for both rigs.

Knobs and OEM emblems!

Ragingmatt on mud did the knobs, totally rebuilt the choke cable with new liner and inner cable and rebuilt guide part, replaced the liners also on the warm and fresh pulls and polished and relubed those cables and guide parts as well. They look damned nice. He did super stellar work on it all and I'm proud to have them be the finishing pieces on the dash.

Also, man, the hubcaps are kind of a bear to install. I tried a few times and gave up rather than mangle them.. Maybe I need to make a tool to install them square?

What I did was mash all the clips on the rims in with a rubber hammer... calibrated one swift whack per. That brought the pressure down to where I can pop them on a little easier, still a killer to remove without a prybar though, but they snap on and sit flush.

Nice! Those cables and knobs look fantastic.
You are making me feel bad for having a dirty 40. ;)

I like the radio blank plate - there can't be many of those out there.
