I've been out of town for a few weeks. Just got back Monday and back on it. Fun stuff like remembering where I was at last night and changing the parts washer fluid was completed. BUT more fun stuff today, the exhaust flanges for the intermediate pipe I finally got done today (with a lot of Drew's help) and I think they'll work great! Hopefully I can finish the exhaust tonight finally.

Started in the rear brakes but the nails I got in my hardware kit were too short so I had to stop.

Also got some green parts back. Insides of things painted outsides will be done on the truck.

I got the rest of the stuff back from the players and noticed my brake lines are crushed in more than a few places so I ordered new brake lines. Kind of a bummer after getting the old ones played but I guess that's how it goes.

It also sits in its own four feet for the first time in what seems like eons. I finally got the rear axle completely done.

Tim, I got that ashtray like 4 years ago when I started gathering parts, I didn't know they'd be gone/unobtainuim/$$$... I kinda got lucky. Same with my front floor mat.

Matt, Yep! And Thanks! Yes, it's an OEM muffler. I'm kinda stoked to hear what it sounded like when it was brand new.

I just ordered all the hard top and windshield weatherstripping and glass gaskets, that stung. Jebus. Hopefully the tub will be ready this friday for pickup, then it starts to go on finally. I'm getting the exterior painted after assembly so I can make sure everything lines up as its supposed to. In the mean time the exhaust is in the 4runner waiting for me to get back from Minneapolis so I can take it to applied Plastics for ceramic coating.

I uncovered my weatherstripping stash and started mocking up the front end.

Lots and lots of back and forth to get the main body panels lined up properly. I'm trying to get it spot on since it'll jet the outside paint once mostly assembled. It's been a few nights just moving stuff bolting and unbolting. I felt bad knowing there were some fine vehicles got destroyed by hail this week.
