Found 1972 FJ40 Gas Tank With Evap Ports

I discovered a leak in my gas tank, so I'm looking for a replacement. I'm looking for one in good shape, no leaks, and has the evap ports like the one in the picture below.

I think some years of 40 tanks are still available new from Toyota, no?

Yes, I believe this is still sold from Toyota but they don't have a picture of the tank. I looked on CCOT's website and they sell the OEM tank, but their picture does not show that it has the evap ports. Their description for the OEM tank states that the evaporation system and charcoal canister have to be removed to use it.

How bad is the leak? Radiator shops can typically repair fuel tanks, too. Once repaired they can slosh a slushing compound inside it to seal everything up again.

Good call. A local shop has my radiator already. I just called them and they were a little hesitant but said they’d take a look.
