Well, looks like my 55 year old mountain plow truck has worked its last snow storm......I was pushing a large mound of snow, medium revs, low gear and low t-case (normal) when all of a sudden I see a ton of white smoke fog the road! I stop, pull over, pop the hood and hear and see water bubbling from the top of the exhaust manifold between the manifold and the head, back of the engine by the carburetor. The over flow bottle is full, engine temp was normal to high (pushing snow will do that), inside heat was on and didn't dare open the radiator cap. No moisture on the oil cap (yet).
I suspect the head gasket finally went after 55 years......but, the real question is what should I do now and what are my options?
Thanks.
