Need at least 1 for a spare, but if ya got a whole set i'd be interested in that too.

They dont have to be pretty, just no dents.

Lmk if you have anything like that and how much you want for them. Looking to pick up anywhere in the Boulder/Denver area asap!

I have a complete set (5). I wanted to put them on my 60, but think I’m gonna stay stock. Have the spacers too. Four showing but I have the fifth as well.

Let me check what I have. I have a steelie rim with spare mounted but I think it's 15".

FYI, those are (probably) first gen Tacoma steel wheels or maybe from a 4Runner.

The backspacing on a 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma steel wheel is about 3/4" deeper and Toyota distinguished the two 16" steel spare styles by putting an oval hole by the valve stem on the 05+ version.

Now either wheel will work no problem on a 2nd gen but they are not the same wheel. Not sure if @TakitakiTaco is looking for actual 05+ Tacoma wheels or not since he's looking to add to his set and may be trying to match others.

I personally run 3rd gen 4Runner alloy wheels to get a slightly wider track and would probably go with the 1st gen wheels like yours if I was starting from zero.

I recently got two of these steelies (with the oval) from Toytec to use on my trailer. They regularly have takeoffs available when people put on 5 new rims. Not sure if they would sell one to the public but you might ask.

wow, anyone here know the width & back spacing on the Gen 1's that Boss Hog has? I've tried googling but can't seem to find the specs. they could be a good option for my BJ73 maybe. Color me as also interested, third in line, if they don't sell. If they do, and the specs are right, I'll start looking around the net!
Thanks,
Abe

A 16x7JJ 95-04 Tacoma spare wheel has an offset of +15mm which translates to a backspacing of a little less than 4.5".

Pretty sure you'd have to run a spacer (think most people use 1.25") on your truck to clear.

FWIW the current Toyota p/n should be 42601-AF010 for these wheels.

Thanks! Sounds like another option that won’t work. I don’t really want to run spacers. I’m about ready to just bite the bullet & order the 16” 40 series knockoffs from Japan.

The tacoma, tundra and 4runner spare steelies came in 16x7 +30 and +15 offsets. Hard to tell visually the difference between all 3.

For 16x7 steel spare wheels wouldn't the +30mm that was used on 2005+ (which is p/n 42601-AD030) have one oval hole by the valve stem? The +15mm (42601-0C010, superseeded now to 42601-AF010) doesn't, all round holes.

The EPC for the older +15mm used on 1st gen Taco and 6-lug Tundra showed the offset of 15 in the description for type A.

The EPC for the newer trucks doesn't include the offset +30 in the steel wheel (types D and E in this case) descriptions but does for the alloy ones.

Well damn. Not a bite for months and I go dark for a few weeks and there’s all this conversation. Sorry I hadn’t check in sooner. Still have the wheels and 1.25” spacers.
