Yo! Stan wrote that you just walked up it? :lmao:

Seriously, that one section was the most difficult it has ever been in 15 years..

 To you guys on the trail today, nice work. My money is on Zepp owning a 100 within the next 24 months. He'll be the first one registered for 100s in the Hills 2016!

I might take this bet. After watching Jeff LAUNCH through that boulder section, I think he might own a Truggie in the near future. Or, turn his 40 into another Wild Rice!!!

Tim really did do some great driving to get that fully loaded (with RTT) 100 through several sections. And, it was really important to have the proper armour. I was a bit concerned with my 80 as I still don't have any belly armour...no skid plates on transfer or tranny which is really needed on this trail to be safe. Even when you pick a good line, sometimes the truck slips/falls to the side and the truck ends up sitting where you don't want it.

Jeff, because the injury was a puncture wound and caused by a stick, the doctor didn't want it stitched up tight. They put a few steristrips separated apart to allow the wound to push out any leftovers from the stick. They did a really good job of cleaning it out, which was a bit painful. Again, thanks to Nakman for having the first aid gauze that allowed me to continue through my AWESOME Father's Day outing without having to turn back right away!

Nice work guys. I was thinking of you yesterday and reminiscing about last year. Unfortunately, it wasn't in the cards this time around. Looks like a fantastic father's day!!

Ironically, Paul was headed back to his truck to get some gloves, after we talked about where to do some rock stacking.

Try this link. I'm not a YouTube regular

Jeff on what I thought was a pretty tough obstacle. sorry about the camera moving, but I was walking to try to get a better angle. Unfortunately, I thought Jeff was going to stop where he was for a second since he crushed his rocker, but it was only then that he really LAUNCHED his truck! I actually missed the real carnage. Maybe Jeff can post up a picture of what his rocker panel looks like now and you can imagine how hard he hits the rock wedged against his rocker at the end of the video :) It was fun!!!

Ya...I was thinking I should have my gloves on to do some rock stacking and spotting, so I was headed back downhill to my truck. On my way, I tripped going downhill and my hand placement to catch myself was straight into the end of a stick that punctured my thumb muscle. After pulling the stick chunck out of my hand, I had to sit down a second to wait for the dizziness to go away! Then, we cleaned and dressed it, and I had a blast for another 4 hours until I could get to the emergency department!!! It really had no effect on the amount of fun I had on that trail...just a minor speedbump, thanks to Tim's great first aid!

That would have worked if it was all rock, but there was a lot of dirt in between the rocks. Both of the guys in the wagons with slushboxes really struggled with all 4 wheels just digging holes into the dirt.

Geez Jeff, you did a number on her

If those areas weren't already completely rusted out and thrashed I would actually care. But they were and I don't

About 5-6 years ago I told Todd I owed him a 40 rocker replacement tech article, I may have to put that on the front burner :p:

Just got done placing an order with SOR, new tail pipe is $54.08 and new tail light assembly is $31.36. I dare say if that were a 100 those prices might be a little higher ;)
